The Shire at West Haven is a one of the most popular Orlando villa communities we have on VR360homes.com. With it’s close proximity to Disney World, the I4 and Champions Gates it has everything you need. And it’s only 30 minutes from Orlando International Airport (MCO).

Located just off HWY54 also known as Ronald Reagan Pkwy, The Shire is close to shops and restaurants at Champions Gate.

The Champions Gate shopping plaza has a Publix supermarket, Wal-Greens pharmacy, McDonald’s, UPS store and a Pizzeria. There is also a couple of banks a Chilli’s restaurant (Mexican, Burgers, Salads) and petrol station.

Update: There are now a number of other restaurants at Champions Gate including, Millers Ale House, Red Robin, Tijuana Flats. We personally love Millers Ale house and probably eat there at least twice a week when visiting Orlando.

There are lots more restaurants in the area mainly located on HWY192 but this is the closest shopping plaza to the Shire at West Haven.

The Shire at West Haven is only 12 mins from Disney’s main gate.

The Shire is also only 12 minutes from Disney’s main gate via Interstate 4 (I4). Giving you access to all the Disney theme parks only a further few minutes away. SeaWorld and Universal Studios are around 15-20 minutes again via Interstate 4.

The Shire at West Haven features luxury Orlando villas to rent from 3 to 5 bedrooms all of which have there own private pools.

The Shire is just one of the smaller communities within the West Haven sub-division and is located at the back so is very quiet. With it’s own gated entrance that requires a code the Shire is also very secure.

There is a large clubhouse which is open to all guests of the Shire at West Haven. The clubhouse has it’s own communal pool, volley ball and tennis courts. There is also a gym and games room with ping pong and pool table.

At the time of writing this the clubhouse pool wasn’t heated so is only really useable in the summer months (May – November).

The tennis and volley ball courts are free to use but you will need your own balls and rackets.
